The Atelier
Our atelier is nestled in the heart of Brittany's bocage, just a few miles from the French Atlantic coast. The founders make each product by hand from this heaven of wilderness and pristine nature.
Each product is made from a pure and natural blend of oils, butters and botanicals.
Our soap base is composed of shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil. These precious essences are organically grown and sustainable. They work in harmony to gently cleanse and leave the skin nourished and healthy.

In French, ‘dessein' means a deep intention we set for ourselves. "Our DESSEIN was born out of a combined passion for artisanal know-how, simple geometry and the wonders of nature."
Keeping our ecological impact to a minimum is a priority.
We do not use plastic; all our packaging material is made of recyclable or compostable paperboard only. All DESSEIN products are free of sulphates, parabens, synthetic fragrances or dyes; they do not contain animal fats or palm oil.
Along with this comes a sincere desire to give back at least some of what nature has given us. We joined forces with One Tree Planted © to replant large areas in Africa and throughout the Amazon basin, working with local communities.
